First an update on my original Bug HBL 14K, still in the process of the early stages of the Resto.
I obtained an 850 Kitten engine with gearbox (plus spare gearbox and kitten rear axle, and half a kitten chassis), off ebay locally. Engine was rebuilt with lots of new parts, valves, pump, gaskets, clutch.
Also 2nd July bought a late Robin galvanised chassis of another Bug owner Eddie, in Coleraine, this will be going to the engineering company along with the old chassis to bring it to Bug spec. Sp will expact it to be there a few weeks.
Aside from that I have been gathering parts I need, so once the rebuild starts, I am not wasting time searching the country for parts. So thanks to those of you who have been able to track down my entensive list of bits to date.
